The purpose of the Guild is to promote interest in and disseminate information pertaining to Daly City, Colma, and their environs. Meeting five times per year (in January, March, May, September, and November), the Guild presents programs of locally related history. The Guild invites photographs, papers, journals and artifacts for a history collection under Guild care. The newsletter Tattler keeps members informed about Guild activities. Membership benefits include regular history meetings, usually in slide-lecture form, with free refreshments, exhibits, and invitations to special history programs.
